How to change the ServiceWorker setting in Google Chrome

This tutorial can be useful if you are having issues viewing PDF files in Google Chrome.

  1. In the URL field of the Chrome browser, type chrome://flags/#enable-service-worker-servicification and then hit Enter
  2. The top entry should be called Servicified service workers - choose "Disabled" from the drop-down menu next to it
  3. Go back and try your PDF again
